Emily Milton, a recent graduate of the University of Michigan School of Art and Design, is working towards becoming a full time artist and set designer for local short and feature length films. Working in and with the community is important to Milton as well. Although Milton’s focus in college was primarily painting, she utilized the different resources and opportunities offered to become skilled in many trades including, but not limited to, metalworking, woodworking, computer arts, photography, drawing, and fiber arts. By combining these skills, Milton sees set design and artistry in her future as viable careers.
